Leven Rambin to Star in Percy Jackson Sequel, “The Sea of Monsters”
Did you miss Leven Rambin in the silver screen? We’re really excited to see our favorite star in her sexy armor and battle costume in the upcoming American fantasy film, Percy Jackson II: The Sea of Monsters. This upcoming teen flick is a sequel to the The Lightning Thief with Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson) as the main cast. According to Down with the Capitol, a Hunger Games fansite, “Leven Rambin will portray the role of Clarisse as the daughter of Ares (the Greek God of War). Her character was described as being skilled at different kinds of battle and also a perfectionist.” What do you think of Leven taking on the role of Clarisse?
This is a whole new challenge for Leven Rambin after her antagonist role as Glimmer in The Hunger Games. If you’d remember, Glimmer is part of District 1 together with Cato (Alexander Ludwig) who was determined to outsmart Katniss Everdeen (Jeniffer Lawrence) in the 74th Hunger Games. In The Sea of Monsters, Clarisse will be playing a modern day Demigod (Half-Human, Half-Greek God). Not to reveal the entire story, Clarisse’s character is absolutely crucial in the development of the plot. The Sea of Monsters is the movie adaptation of the best-selling novel written by the American author Rick Riordan. For those who haven’t read the book, you still have weeks to do that. Will Clarisse side with Percy Jackson’s forces in Camp Half-Blood or will she side with the enemies? This and other questions can be a topic in micro-blogging sites like Twitter or the community section of binguez, an online gaming site. After interacting with the players and fellow Leven Rambin fans, don’t forget to share your thoughts at the comments section below.
